Data Use Agreement for Researchers

As part of getting a researcher account and thus gaining access to de-identified database of student responses, R coding exercises, and supplementary data provided by instructors, you’ll be asked to read, sign, and abide by the CourseKata Data Use Agreement for Researchers. By executing this Agreement or otherwise accessing the data provided hereunder, you are hereby agreeing to the terms herein. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use CourseKata data. Below, find some summarized key aspects that you are agreeing to: All data obtained from CourseKata is to be used solely for educational or research purposes. Any publication or dissemination of this data must be done in strict accordance with the principles of de-identification. This means that any personally identifiable information or sensitive data must be removed or anonymized before publication or sharing. CourseKata is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of individuals, and therefore, it is imperative that users respect these guidelines when using and publishing the data. As a result, you may never share students’ data with anyone other than authorized researchers.
